Dear Diary,
This morning I moved my things into the master bedroom at the house. Michael and I have lived there alone for the past few weeks, and it looks like it may be permanent. Seems silly to let the main bedroom go to waste. Besides, this way I'll be closer to Michael's room when he has his night terrors.
Mrs. Corinthos walked in while I was arranging the closet. "What are you doing in my bedroom, you hag?" she demanded. "are you spying on me? Cause you're going about it all the wrong way. Look, you need to get behind the furniture on your hands and knees. Otherwise anyone can see you."
Thinking fast, I pulled her up from behind the dresser and told her that I had a little extra time so I was cleaning the closets for her. "Oh," she said, putting her hands on her hips and thrusting her elbows behind her. "Well that's all right then. Just don't let me catch you sticking your nose into my pla-a-ans!"
I asked her why she was at the house. Had she come to visit Michael? "Who? I'm just here to pick up my spare wedding dress." She gave me a smirk. "Mr. Corinthos and I are getting married today! I mean, we're already married. We're renewing our vows. That were never broken! It's a renewal ceremony! But first I have to slap a cop and put my feet on the table at the precinct. Oh -- just get out of my way!"
Should I get Michael dressed in his little suit for the ceremony, I asked her. "Are you crazy?" she snarled. "This is a happy occasion! Why would I want that little brat there? Or any of my worthless family! I'm MRS. SONNY CORINTHOS and I don't need anybody at my wedding! This day is all about ME! Well, except maybe Sonny. I guess he needs to be there. And a priest, I suppose. But no one else! Not even the priest, if we can find a way to get rid of him!"
I backed slowly out of the room and went to find Michael. Fortunately, he hadn't heard anything specific, but I could see by his trembling that he knew she was in the house. "Is that the scary lady who makes me call her mommy, Mommy?" Yes, I told him, but don't worry darling, she'll be gone soon. We crept out the back door and hid in the yard until she left. The night terrors will be bad tonight.
