September 5

Dear Diary,

Spent the day unpacking and airing out the house here on the island. Michael is jumpy, expecting to see the scary lady lurking behind every bush. I want to reassure him, but it's still possible that she might follow us here after all.

I called Reginald from my cell phone. The roaming charge must be astronomical here, but what do I care. Mr. Corinthos gets the bill, and diary, between you and me it's the least he can do after what he's put my son through.

In any case, I called Reginald to explain why I wasn't going to make our date this weekend. He was disappointed, but he's used to my employers' capricious demands by now. He promised to visit us here as soon as he can get vacation time from the Q's.

Johnny has a nice little apartment in back of the house. He says he's supposed to guard us, but from what? The seagulls? I put him to work building a dog house for Lupita.
