Salmon Ladder
Contestants climb a "ladder" by hanging from a pipe suspended on small
supports and jumping up, catching the pipe on a series of higher
supports.
Just my opinion of course, but this obstacle is too difficult for a timed course. In seasons 18 and 19, eight people have completed stage 1, and five of them have failed on the Salmon Ladder. I'd rather see the nigh-impossible obstacles near the end of stage 3, so we get to see the rest of the course.
